Shanna Pervola received her Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2007 and became ABR Certified in June, 2012.  She is a Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) in the state of Ohio. 

Shanna has significant clinical experience and has been instrumental in the startup of radiation therapy centers, becoming proficient in the commissioning of Eclipse treatment planning systems.  Her excellent training at the University of Kentucky has made an impact on the quality of reporting and organization of the many facets of medical physics services provided through OMPC.  

Shanna joined OMPC in June, 2008.  Shanna actively participates in annual evaluations of linear accelerators for multiple facilities in several states and has been instrumental in establishing procedures for full compliance with AAPM TG-142 requirements.

Shanna is an Authorized Medical Physicist for HDR brachytherapy and is active in the prostate brachytherapy program for OMPC.  Shanna also manages the radiation oncology clinical physics staff for OMPC.
